Word on the Street:
Here's the low down people. I'm currently working at the Santa Cruz Mountain Art Center in Ben Lomond where I'm firin' kilns, mixin' glazes, and spreadin' my love of clay via lessons and exhibitions. Our current show entitled "Let it Be" features some great artists in a variety of mediums, and it should be up for another month or so.
The art center is a stunning facility with an amazing ceramics program. We've got a multitude of kilns and wheels, slab roller, extruder, and ample work space for creativity to rock the house. I'm fortunate and extremely grateful to have the opportunity to work in such a magical place with positive people who are motivated and enthused about spreading the love of art to the community and beyond.
I'm making myself available to teach a wheel throwing class every wednesday, somewhere in the range of 12-8ish. Frankly, I try to squeeze as much studio time as I can manage so if you want to play with some clay, call or email and I'll do what it takes to find a way to get you in the glorious ceramic arena.
